“Our members are leading on sustainability in technology and travel. Their corporate missions are fostering responsible practices at their facilities and most importantly, giving consumers information on sustainable options, providing greener traveling choices,” stated Steve Shur, President of Travel Tech. “The demand for sustainable travel is increasing and travel suppliers are working to meet the demand. Online travel platforms maintain a competitive marketplace where suppliers are now promoting sustainable offerings, giving consumers information they are seeking.”

In November, in advance of COP 26,  Travel Tech issued a report, to highlight the sustainable initiatives of our industry, provides more detail on initiatives where Travel Tech members are reducing their carbon footprint and embracing eco-friendly solutions.

“We are proud of the work and progress our members are making to promote and enhance sustainable travel and technology for the future of our planet,” Shur continued. “Our industry is leading by example to make sustainable travel a reality.”
